Maty Tall is an accomplished power systems engineer and energy consultant, currently serving as a Manager at Deloitte Senegal, where she leads key projects in the firm’s Energy, Resources & Industrial practice.

With a strong commitment to sustainable development and energy access in West Africa, Maty specializes in designing and implementing energy solutions that support national electrification goals, utility reform, and climate-resilient infrastructure.

Maty holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, where she was a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at both institutions. Her academic and professional focus has consistently centered on renewable energy systems, rural electrification, and energy policy for public good. During her studies, she conducted extensive research on hybrid power systems and energy access in underserved regions, laying the groundwork for her career in sustainable development consulting.

At Deloitte, Maty has built a reputation for technical excellence, collaborative leadership, and high-impact delivery. In 2024, she was honored as Employee of the Year at Deloitte Senegal, recognising her outstanding contribution to both client outcomes and internal team development.
