Dr Yue Hu is a Lecturer in Photovoltaic Materials Chemistry in the School of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, where she leads a research group focusing on functional materials for optoelectronic devices.

With a strong background in material science, Yue combines experimental chemistry with computational modelling to tackle pressing climate and energy challenges. Her interdisciplinary and agile approach enables the development of novel, scalable technologies that can be adapted to diverse global contexts, contributing to a just energy transition.
