Our CeeD Data for Change Award is back: nominations open until 18 December

Featured, News

Good data and good software are some of the most useful tools we have for tackling climate change and supporting sustainable development. But the people building and sharing them are often working in isolation, especially in the Global South, where professional networks and community support can be thin.

FeME is delighted to sponsor the CeeD Data for Change Award for a second year. The award celebrates individuals and teams who champion best practice in software, data and open sourcing within climate action and sustainable development.

We’re particularly looking to recognise work from under-represented communities and the Global South, where the impact of climate change is often most severe and data practitioners receive less recognition.

The award is part of the CeeD Industry Awards, which take place on Thursday 4 March 2027 at the Glasgow Hilton. CeeD (the Centre for Engineering Education & Development) brings engineering and manufacturing companies and academia together into a peer-learning community across Scotland. FeME is also a Silver Sponsor of the awards.
