Professor Laura Colucci‑Gray holds a Personal Chair in Science and Sustainability Education at the Moray House School of Education and Sport, University of Edinburgh.

A former biology teacher with a BSc from the University of Turin and a PhD in Science Education, she specialises in STEAM curricula, sustainability education, participatory and arts-based methodologies, and place-based learning. She leads the STEAM & Sustainability strategy within Initial Teacher Education; she is associate editor for Cultural Studies in Science Education and Visions for Sustainability, and serves on the board of One Seed Forward. Her current research includes haptic inquiry in citizen science and dialogic, ecological identity‑forming practices, recently published in leading education and sustainability journals. Passionate about real‑world learning, radical democracy and ecological citizenship, she integrates arts and science to foster sustainable futures.
